The Force Unleashed coming to PC this fall

WHERE IS PADAME?

The Force Unleashed was not a perfect game, by far, though when I played it on my PS3, I was able to look past the horrendous load times (even when entering the pause menu the game had to load, jesus) to see one of the better Star Wars games released [...]

MechWarrior teaser is indeed a new MechWarrior game

So those MechWarrior teasers?  Yeah, it’s a new game.  A new MechWarrior game, a reboot of the original, on PC and (unfortunately) the 360, and will feature 4 player Co-Op for the campaign, which sounds awesome as hell.  This one is probably still a ways off, though.

That sucks: Trine not coming to XBLA after all

Chalk it up to Wikipedia being a piece of shit sometimes citation needed

According to Frozenbyte themselves, Trine is PSN and PC only pending Microsoft approval:

An XBLA version of Trine is a possibility but nothing more at present time. We would love to have Trine on XBLA and we’ve partnered with Atlus to make it happen, [...]

Braid – Fifteen clams for a decent puzzle platformer

omfg braid lol!

Braid was released on the Xbox Live Arcade last year, and was touted as being 2008’s Portal.  Like any game worthwhile on consoles, it’s been released a year later on a real gaming platform.

What makes Braid much different than Portal, or any other casual puzzle type game, is [...]

Dragon Age: Origins pushed back into the second half of 2009

I must have missed it in EA’s press release yesterday – because this is much more important than Warhammer Online – Bioware’s next RPG epic, Dragon Age: Origins, has been pushed back into the second half of 2009, to coincide with the release of the game on consoles.  Previously, the PC [...]

Because you’re not going to be getting laid, anyway…

You can send these Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress 2 Valentine’s day cards to anyone you really feel like alienating yourself from.

2009 In Games

2008 proved to be a relatively solid year for vidya games.  And 2009 has a good amount of games slated for release, not to mention the potential for certain studios to announce games throughout the year.  It will be quite interesting to see what games are released, which ones suck, which ones are [...]

Braid PC release date put around February/March 2009

Braid is one of the reasons I kind of wish I had a 360, but much like Mass Effect, I’ll finally be able to play it early next year, according to Jonathan Blow.  If you’re not sure what Braid is, it’s basically a side scrolling platformer inspired by numerous older games [...]
