Twentieth Century Fox filed a suit against Warner Brothers a while back. Fox apparently bought the rights to a Watchmen movie back in the 80’s, meaning that Warner Brothers basically is trying to distribute a movie they don’t legally own the rights to. Yesterday, a judge ruled in favor of Fox - so who knows [...]

I find it quite interesting to see all my childhood memories re-imagined and rebooted before my very eyes - sometimes for good, sometimes for worse. Film makers certainly have access to better CGI and effects technology than they did two decades ago, but does enhanced CGI make for a better flick? (No, says George Lucas.) [...]

My place of employment is generous enough to allow me a decent amount of personal days a year. I usually spend these days the way any other sane individual would: by catching the earliest possible flick at the local theater, in order to avoid the masses of individuals who are not nearly as amused by [...]

Firstshowing.net got a look at 26 minutes of the Watchmen movie - and apparently it’s not “bad”. The flick runs 2 hours and 43 Minutes.
I guess I’m kinda excited to see it, but I still don’t want it to suck huge ass and taint the memories of Alan Moore’s masterpiece.

De Niro will be playing the part of Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran - one of the dudes that was supposedly involved in the death of Jimmy Hoffa.
Hopefully it’s better than Righteous Kill….
