The Orange Box – ten bones this weekend

If you’ve been living under a fucking rock for two years, or if you’ve been too cheap to buy it, The Orange Box is on Steam for ten bucks this weekend only.  Assuming you still aren’t convinced to buy it, consider this:

  • Portal is easily worth twenty bucks on it’s own and still offers pretty decent replay value
  • Team Fortress 2 is updated more frequently than the Xbox counterpart, and still gets content and map updates to this day
  • Half-Life 2 is one of the best and most solid shooters released on PC to date
  • Owning Orange Box will allow you to play any number of mods for Source games (Fistful of Frags, Pirates Knights and Vikings II, Goldeneye: Source)

It was an awesome deal for $40 back in 2007, and it’s still a great deal for $10 in 2009.  So buy it.
