FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

I can deal with X-men movies.  Or Spider-man movies.  But then they start doing the Punisher.  And then the Watchmen.  And then Y: The Last Man.  And now the fucking Preacher.
Jessie Custer would be fucking pissed.
As it stands, I’ve only a handful of graphic novels left untouched by hollywood’s greedy fucking hands.  FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

New Dragon Age: Origins “Origins” Video

Origins are Dragon Age’s introductory gameplay chapter of the game, during which your actions and choices will have an effect on the overall outcome of the game itself.  Dragon Age is slated to ship in March 2009.

Bethesda’s Paul Oughton puts new Elder Scrolls in 2010

In an interview with Gamesindustry.biz, Paul Oughton talked about the new Elder Scrolls game, after talking about Nintendo -
“At the moment we’ve got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there’s a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010,” said Oughton. “At the moment we’re not that interested in the Wii. We’re going to stick to [...]

Wrapup - Er’thang I’ve found about The Old Republic (on the intarnets)

The initial announcement rush of information on The Old Republic is over, for now, so here’s a wrap up of all the major previews of the game, and everything important to know:
IGN - First Details
Bioware claims there is enough content in TOR to make not only Knights of the Old Republic three through twelve.  A [...]

Sega Genesis turns 20 years old

That is, if you go by “Mega Drive” years.  According to the Wikipedia article,
The Mega Drive was released in Japan on October 29, 1988,[14] almost exactly a year after the NEC PC Engine.
So, happy birthday, Mega Drive.  It won’t be until January 9th that the Genesis turns 20 - which is the day that really [...]

Fallout 3 is so far Amazing

I got it at 12 last night, and made it to work all bleary eyed at 7.  So far, I’m really impressed.  Bethesda has captured the feel and style of the old games perfectly.  The combat and VATS targeting system work wonderfully, the character model variation is much better than Oblivion’s, and there is an [...]

Early Access to Left 4 Dead demo with Gamestop preorder

Gamestop is offering early access to the Left 4 Dead demo with a preorder, and most likely a pushy nerd trying to sell you the strategy guide with it.

Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Good: Curb back for a Seventh Season

First Dexter, and now Larry David and the gang.  Supposedly going to start filming in December, with episodes airing early 2009.
“An employee is always told that the customer’s right and, in fact, the customer is usually a moron and an asshole.”  - Larry David

Terrible Team is Terrible

The Flyers have been shitting the proverbial bed so badly lately it almost hurts watching hockey.  I’m calling ten straight losses before a win.  Maybe eleven?  The Flyers are in last place in the Atlantic Division, losing six straight, either in overtime or straight up sixty minutes of hockey.
Disappointing.

Dead Space: Scary Game, or Scariest Game?

I’m really not one for horror games, but after seeing the reviews of Dead Space, I couldn’t help but pick this one up.  The last survival horror game I played was Resident Evil 4, and I love anything Sci-Fi, so….
I’m on the second chapter of the game.  The graphics are wunderbar, the controls and camera [...]
