Stardock talks “Gamer’s Bill of Rights”

A while back, Gameinformer published an interview with Stardock CEO Brad Wardell, in which he talked about a dynamic, centralized download and update system and it’s place in the PC gaming industry.  Stardock has a Steam-like content delivery system called Stardock Central, and while I don’t like it as much as I like Steam, it’s [...]

Max Payne Theatrical Trailer Released

Since I can’t embed it, check it out at Yahoo.
Looks fucking gravy.  Except for Ludacris?  What the FUCK is he doing in this?  It’s like Fiddy Cent in Righteous Kill.  Go rap, quit trying to act, motherfucker.
The trailer itself has exceeded my expectations, but it’s just that - a trailer.  Mila Kunis looks awesome in [...]

Android getting iPhone like store - Called Android Market

Chegg it:
Similar to YouTube, content can debut in the marketplace after only three simple steps: register as a merchant, upload and describe your content and publish it.
This is a good thing, I plan on getting an Android phone when it comes out.  I much prefer open source to a restricted/propietary system like Apple’s.

Comcast capping bandwidth at 250gb a month starting October

Blame Ogah.
They’re calling it “excessive use“:
Announcement Regarding An Amendment to Our Acceptable Use Policy
It’s no secret we’ve been evaluating a specific monthly data usage or bandwidth threshold for our Comcast High-Speed Internet residential customers for some time. Rumors circulated online last year and they popped up again in May.
In January, we added new frequently asked [...]

Ned Flanders Approves: Guitar Praise coming to a PC near you

I personally think Guitar Hero is a quite stupid game (that is, I’m musically talented by nature and don’t have to play a plastic guitar to look cool), but this is even more stupid.
Grab the guitar and play along with top Christian bands! Shred those riffs or blast the bass…you add a unique sound to [...]

MGS5 semi “announced”?

According to IGN:
In an interview with Kotaku, former Assistant Producer at Kojima Productions Ryan Payton (widely credited with the Westernized control scheme for MGS4), mentioned his reasons for leaving the company and memories of developing the acclaimed title. At the very end of the interview, he revealed something that all Metal Gear fans wanted to [...]

Road Rage

People are idiots, and I’ve found that they’re even bigger idiots when put behind the wheel of a car or motor vehicle.  Through extensive research, I’ve found that most drivers can be qualified under these types of drivers

Doom Comic Book from ‘96 Surfaces

This is fucking hilarious.
I’m not going to link the entire thing, just this one good page:

SWEET CHRISTMAS!

Prepare for the Future: Fallout 3 Releases October 28th.

Can’t wait.  Bethesda is the type of game studio, that, in my eyes, can do no wrong.  I still play Oblivion and Morrowind to this day, and I imagine Fallout 3 will be the same.  Plus, Liam Neeson.  I preordered the Collector’s Edition, if not for the bobblehead, for the hard cover art book.  If [...]

Warhammer Online Cinematic Released, Looks Good.

You can grab it here.
I like it.  Simple and to the point.  People killing people.
Obviously not exactly how the game plays, but the feeling of Warhammer is certainly there.
Some shots after the jump.
